Vipin (Sceptile)

Age: Rather old and he refuses to admit just how old.

-Physical Stuff-

Physique: What sets Vipin apart from others of his kind  Like most Sceptiles is his hight. He is almost a foot taller than most of the other Sceptiles he has met. Because of this and his rather stern appearance he often comes across as threatening.  Vipin is soft shade of green with brilliant red markings on his hips, lip and around his eyes. However, most of his colouring is somewhat dulled and faded when compared to others of his species. Even the seed growing on his back have a somewhat faded yellow. His tail on the other hand actually has a darker green, tinting almost a brownish black over the forestry green most Sceptiles have.
Eye Color: Like most Sceptiles, Vipin has a yellow hue to his eyes. However, if one looks closely into his small irises they will see he actually has blue eyes.
Other Scars/Markings: He has a few old scars scattered around his body but nothing overly noticeable. Most are faded and look to be very old.
Power: Leaf Blade, Earthquake, Acrobat, Rock slide, Swords dance, and Dragon pulse.

-Personality Stuff-

Likes:

• Vipin absolutely loves the forest and all of plants inside. He takes great pride in caring for the forest and will do everything possible to protect each and every strain of life within in. Unless of course, it has anything to do with fire.
  
• He also takes great delight in his self pride and others who recognize how 'perfect' he is. Vipin will actually go to great lengths to protect those who respect and obey him. He treats them much like he would threat the forest.
• One way to make Vipin's mood lighten up is to feed him something sweet, like honey. he absolutely loves sweet foods of all kinds.
• Vipin loves quiet afternoons and evenings alone. Simply listening to the quite hum of the forest soothes his entire body.
  

Dislikes:

• Vipin absolutely hates seeing any plant life being destroyed. He feels it's an important part of earths energy and will do all he can to stop others from hurting it. In fact he becomes very protective of any plant he sees in danger and sometimes will even become hostile like a parent protecting it's young.
  
• If there is one thing Vipin can't stand, it's loud, energetic and talkitive pokemon. Most of the time he rolls his eyes and huffs a lot when forced to be around them. If they become too annoying he may even raise his voice at them or in rare occasions, attack them.
  
• Fire. To Vipin it is one of the most dangerous and destructive elements in the world. He has a strong belief that the only 'fire' in the world should be the sun. Because of this, Vipin tends to be rather hostile towards all fire type pokemon.
• If someone wants to make Vipin mad they simply have to disrespect him. He has a strong dislike for disrespectful pokemon and even greater dislike for those who treat him with disrespect. After all, he believes himself to be of noble blood.
• Simply put, losing battles. Though it does happen often, he believes he should be able to defeat all of the enemies of his forest. He feels that losing any sort of battle renders him submissive and he will work hard to regain his pride be it through another battle or some other way.
  

Motivation: Strives to convince others that he is the 'King' of the forests. Though he often goes about it the wrong way he is still determined to create his own forest colony to 'command' and 'protect'. In addition he dreams of banning all fire type pokemon from the forests. At a younger age he was convinced that all fire types should be exterminated. However, as he grew older he decided that was rash and unsportsmanlike.

Strengths: Vipin is rather Fast moving especially when in the forest and leaping from tree to tree. The leaves on his arms are extreamly sharp allowing him to cut through thick wood. It is without peer in jungle combat. When he isn't blinded by rage, Vipin is rather intelligent and often uses his knowledge to manipulate others. With his height and stern apparent he is good at intimidating  other Pokemon, including those of equal power.

Weaknesses/Flaws: At times Vipin is too overly proud. he will often allow his ego to cloud his judgment and can be easily tricked this way. Often he will over estimates his own strengths and pride which often gets himself in trouble. Though he tries to keep himself calm and collect, Vipin is easily angered or annoyed over small things. This often leads to picking fights he can not handle or putting himself into situation he would otherwise not want to be in.
Just like most fire pokemon, Vipin is weak against fire type pokemon. He has great trouble catching flying pokemon and ice pokemon tend to cause his body to feel stiff which in return slows his movements. Though he is strong against Water type pokemon, Vipin is unable to swim well making him rather vulnerable when in deep water.

Fears: Though Vipin wont admit it, he has a strong fear towards fire pokemon. When he was younger it was a forest fire that claimed his mates life. Since then he will try his best to avoid contact with fire pokemon despite his strong, unflattering opinion towards them.

Personality: With his age and vast knowledge Vipin sees himself as a very noble, wise and esteemed pokemon. he feels he is no doubt the 'King of the forest' and because of that he demands great respect and admiration from the other pokemon who live in 'his' forest. When he does get the response he likes from other pokemon, his ego tends to take a sky rocket into the clouds. This often causes him to stand a bit taller, while showing off how spectacular he truly believes himself to be. When he doesn't get the respect he demands he often becomes rather grumpy and sour towards... well everything.

Most often or not, Vipin's ego is stronger than he is physically. Though he is quite powerful due to his age and training, he is certainly not the most power pokemon around. Luckily, he is the type of pokemon to try and manipulate those around him before actually entering a battle with them. But, when he does enter a losing battle his ego often takes a very big dive to the ground. He becomes very ashamed in himself and almost embarrassed to even be around those who saw him lose. Though grudgingly, he will even become rather submissive to those who beat him until the day he can prove he is better than them. You can bet he will work his every waking moment to do just this, whether it be in another battle or in some other way. Simply gaining their respect in some way will regain his pride in himself, thus putting himself back on his mental throne.
