Physique: Eraqus was born a bit bigger and bulkier than many of his brothers and sisters, and this has been slightly expanded due to a life full of battles and travelling. He's also...fluffier than most of his species. He is usually seen wearing a white scarf, despite how ragged it has become over the years...He says it makes him look cooler.

Other Scars/Markings: As expected for a very avid battler, Eraqus' body has various scabs, bruises, etc. all throughout his body from battling, probably more than is healthy for him.

-Personality Stuff-

Likes: Battling: Our Flareon here has a VERY avid love for battle. It's the greatest thrill he has ever found in the world, and will bother just about anyone to get one, whether they be big or small.
Exploration: Marquis also has quite a liking for exploring places old and new. Mythology describing the greatest powers anyone has ever known interests him, and with almost every myth, comes some sort of place to explore, and unravel the secrets of. His main purpose for travelling...Finding, and challenging, the great legendaries of this world.
Peace: When he isn't battling or exploring to his heart's desire, Marquis desires some peaceful time in order to rest his body to allow it to recover from some of the constant injuries he often receives. He also prefers his battles to be peaceful...to an extent, meaning he doesn't like to fight for his life or anything, basically just a battle for fun.

Dislikes: Failure/Losing: Like many avid battlers, Marquis dislikes losing very much. He hates the feeling you get and you can't do something that you attempt. He does anything to prevent himself from losing...Though, if it must come to it, he'll accept a loss honorably...Though he won't like doing so.
Unfairness: Marquis hates it when someone uses unfair tactics in order to win. A win shouldn't be considered a win if you use cheap tactics, so this Flareon would never think about stooping so low. Also, if he fins someone being treated unfairly, he'll try to stand up for them, though he isn't always the best at avoiding doing this himself.
Water,Sand,etc.: He doesn't like having his coat get real dirty with these types of things. The only thing he doesn't mind dirtying his coat are scars and the like. Also, there's the fact that he can't swim well, and that a soggy coat is VERY uncomfortable because he's...fluffy. Also, sand can be pretty uncomfortable if it gets in the wrong places, like in between paw pads.

Motivation: Marquis wants to be the strongest of them all...Plain and simple. He also wants to get back together with his brothers and sisters.

Strengths: Marquis is probably one of the most stubborn individuals out there. It doesn't matter how badly the odds are stacked against, or how much of a beating he's taken, he will continue to fight until he literally cannot go on any longer. He's a very loyal Flareon, especially with his younger siblings, for he sees it as his duty to try and protect them. Being, bigger and bulkier than the average Flareon, Marquis is a good bit more resilient when it comes to taking damage. Not to mention that he's also very brave, gladly taking on much larger opponents, Pokemon of legendary strength...anyone.

Weaknesses/Flaws: Being this stubborn also has it's downfalls. He often gets himself hurt very badly. Also, Marquis isn't the best when it comes to interaction, he sometimes ends up teasing, and offending, somebody else, and rarely backs down when it comes to arguments. He's also quite reckless when it comes to battling, often just charging in head-on, or using a lot of moves that end up having recoil damage, or a bad secondary effect. This often intensifies the injuries he may obtain. Also, he doesn't take being teased very well at all, and will often defend himself violently, with a couple exceptions, such as his family

Fears: Marquis has this lurking fear that if he doesn't find his family, that something bad will happen to them. So, when's not battling, he's partly exploring to find his lost siblings. Other than that, he has this very tiny fear that resides in the back of his head that someday, he'll find an opponent that is impossible for him to beat. For this reason, he trains himself a lot to possibly prevent this from happening.

Personality: The words that probably best describe Marquis' personality are stubborn, carefree, and loyal. As mentioned before, this is one Flareon that will never ever back down from anything or anyone. But, he may give in to those who he knows well, for those he knows usually know what they're talking about, right? He has a very strong loyalty when it comes to those he cares about, trying to make sure that they are safe. He becomes very disappointed in himself if a family member or friend has something bad happen to them, especially if he could have prevented it. Though, Marquis does have his carefree side. He often goes into battles, or sometimes even explorations, with little to none preparation, and often zero regard for his own safety. He likes to have fun once in awhile, which of course usually leads to battling. He doesn't care if he ends up getting hurt, as long as he had fun doing it. He also has a tendency to tease around with those he knows. This may lead to offending them, but at least he means well. Despite being carefree, he has a rather short fuse when it comes to others picking on him. When someone makes him angry, you can be assured that he'll probably insist on starting a fight, or at the very least, he'll be raising his voice in anger. However, when he is around family and friends, he tries his best to hold his anger back if he gets teased a little, often with moderate success. Also, he does his best to protect those he cares for if doing something such as exploring. So basically, he has two different sides to his personality, stubborn, carefree, and quick to anger when alone, but loyal, protective, and rather caring when with family.

History: Marquis is the oldest of the Eevee bunch, and probably the biggest, as well. Thus, when his brothers and sisters started coming along, he tried to make his alpha position clear. This led to rude mistreating of several others within the family. But, many of them eventually started ignoring his rudeness. Except for Isaac...Though he doesn't like to admit it today, he is probably the biggest reason why Isaac has become how he is today..Seeing him turn into the fearful, quiet child he is today gave Marquis a guilty feeling, though he tried to set it aside. Then the storms came and ripped away multiple members of his family, including Isaac. This, paired with a lecture from his father, gave the Flareon the wake-up call that he needed. It made him realize that an alpha is supposed to be there to protect his family. Ashamed with himself, he left the nest to try and find the lost members of his family, which was down even more for other various reasons, such as Hope going into domestication. This search eventually led to him finding Purenti, the island plagued by the most massive storms. How he managed to get past these storms, Marquis ill never know. He now searches for those he has lost, in an attempt to bring the pack together again, and hopefully have him do a better job as the 'alpha of the pack' this time.
