1) Posts
While creating a post please make it at least 65 words long. This is to keep quality consistent throughout the entire forum.
Also, please respect a posting order. This means that participants in the thread take turns posting and don't rush into another post before one of the other members got a chance to speak. To make it simple: Let the thread creator post first, then who joined second, third, and so on until it gets back to the thread creators turn.
And lastly in addition to what's been spoken above, you may make your characters in 'Liquid Time', meaning that they can have multiple threads going at any location. As long as it doesn't get out of hand.
2) Accepted Characters
Please wait until after your character is accepted to start role playing with it. We also ask that you wait until your first character is accepted and has taken place in one role play to create another one.
3) Respect
We aren't asking you to chat with everyone who comes onto Pokemon Legacy, but please treat each and every member--staff or not--with respect and decency.
4) Spamming
While in the chat or forums please keep in mind that not everyone appreciates having a flood of seemingly useless comments. This doesn't meen you're not allowed to have conversations about things nobody else knows about, but please don't spam the board with whatever is on your mind.
5) Power Playing
Nobody likes playing with somebody who is seemingly flawless, dictating, or invincible. This means no Power Playing, no God Modding, and no Mary-Sue/Stew'ing. For all of those who do not know what these are:
Power Playing - Taking control of someone's character without asking proper permission.
God Modding - Creating a character, or having your character act overly powerful. With Pokemon in play this means dodging every hit thrown at you, and confirming that every one of your attacks find it's target.
Mary-Sue/Stew'ing - Having a character be all around flawless.
6) Threads
While making a thread please tag it with one of the following.
[Open] - Anyone can join the thread upon asking.
[Private] - To join the thread you must be invited.
7) M-Rated Material
This forum is open to all ages. Keep in mind that while making or replying to a thread that we do not allow gore, mature themes, or anything sexual. We are very strict with this rule. We also do not allow cussing of any kind, even the more innocent words.
8) Archives
Once you wrap up a thread please send a private message to a staff member or alert them in the chat, we can then move the thread into the 'Archives' for safe keeping. And if thread has been inactive for over three months, a staff member will move it into the Archives under the 'Dead Threads' sub board.
9) Character Logs
Character logs are made by members to keep track of their characters, as well as the threads each character is in. Please keep from commenting on these, it makes it easier on the member to keep track this way.
10) Legendary Claiming
When applying to claim a legendary Pokemon, please use the normal character application and make a thread under the 'Legendary Claim' column, we ask that before applying you have at least ten posts, and that your account has aged past three weeks old. Members are capped to two legendary Pokemon each.
If a member that has claimed a legendary Pokemon has been inactive for over a month, the Pokemon is put back up for grabs.
11) Absences
If you're going to be away for a period of time, please let us know in the 'Absences' column. This is not mandatory, and you don't even need to tell us why you're going. But it's much more convenient for us to know if you plan on coming back.
If you do declare that you are leaving permanently we give a one week grace period where we keep all the threads, characters, and logs that you have created. Once that week is over they are deleted or moved to the archives.
12) Signatures
If you plan on using a picture as a signature, make sure it's roughly 750x250, we don't want them stretching the pages out, it's just an eyesore that way.
